These are Silkie Bantam chickens. This particular breed of chicken are known for their gentle, placid and docile nature making them suitable pets around children, they are a wonderful addition to any household not to mention the added bonus of fresh eggs. They enjoy chicken pellets, scraps like vegetables and fruit and the occasional treat of mealworms. They live in a free range, predator proof yard and enjoy the sunshine and dust bathing all day long.
